Whether you’re a brand-new beekeeper, a seasoned honey producer, or an affiliate association representative, we’re excited to welcome you to the WVBA community!

The West Virginia Beekeepers Association works statewide to support healthy bees, successful beekeepers, and strong local clubs. Your participation helps us provide education, advocacy, resources, and programs that strengthen beekeeping across the Mountain State.

  • Regardless of when you pay annual dues within a calendar year, your membership remains valid until the year's end. Early payments offer greater value for your money. Please note that the WVBA does not issue reminder or renewal notices. You're welcome to renew your membership starting from November for the upcoming year or at any time during the current calendar year. We appreciate your ongoing support!

    The West Virginia Beekeepers Association extends one year of free membership in the WVBA to all first year and prospective beekeepers who complete an organized novice beekeeping program offered by a WVBA affiliated bee club. Individuals completing the course are eligible for one-year of free membership and waived tuition for the specified WVBA Event offered that year. You need only provide proof of participation to qualify.  Proof must be submitted to the WVBA secretary.

    Annual dues: $12 per direct member (Jan–Dec)
    Lifetime membership: One-time $180

  • If you are a member of a local beekeeping association, your dues are collected and submitted by your association. Your annual dues support the WVBA statewide programs and services, even though you pay through your club.

    Annual dues: $10 per direct member (Jan–Dec)
    Lifetime membership: One-time $150

    Before paying:
    Please ensure your association has submitted its membership count through the required reporting form. This payment link should be used only to remit the total dues for your club’s combined annual members and any optional new lifetime members.
