The WVBA is in need of help very shortly so please consider the following and see if there is a position you would want to help with:

1.
Sharron Ball has asked that she be replaced as editor of our newsletter. She is quite willing to help the next person get started.

2.
Janet Clayton says that she can not continue as the person to orchestrate and plan our Fall Meeting, but will certainly finish this one.          Her work load is tall in spring thru fall.

3.     Joyce Frey has said that she will continue as treasurer until Dec. 31, 2010 but not later. When she volunteered for the position she               was not employed but life is more demanding now that she is employed.

Again-------seriously consider helping if you can.                                  Troy Holbrook------President of WVBA

Some time ago we were invited to comment on the proposed rules regarding Limited Liability for WV beekeepers.

I feel certain that some of you voiced your like or dislike concerning those proposals to the WV Department of Agriculture

and offered suggestions for changes that you felt would be appropriate. For that effort I thank you very much.

As citizens we have the right to comment when specifically asked to do so. Do we have that same right even when

not specifically asked? It certainly is my VERY strong belief that we have the right, responsibility and the freedom to talk or

write to any of our elected representatives about any matters of state affairs whether we agree or disagree with proposed or

passed matters. By doing so we at least take an opportunity possibly to enlighten them on points they may not have

considered or heard of from others. Whether our delegates are personally knowledgeable

About the area of our concern we have a right we CANNOT and SHOULD NOT give to others!

            Troy Holbrook, President of WVBA
